Bruggers, DDS, MS
received a BS degree
in Microbiology from Louisiana State University Baton
Rouge, and an AS degree in Dental Laboratory Technology and
a DDS from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry.
She received her MS in Prosthodontics from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Bruggers is on the editorial review
board for the Quintessence of Dental Technology and has
memberships in the American College of Prosthodontics,
where she is on the Board of the ACP Educational Foundation, the ADA, and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.
Dr. Bruggers taught dental ceramics at LSU prior to
attending dental school and after completing her Prosthodontics
training, she taught full time in the Prosthodontic Department
at UNC for three years. She has been in private practice
since 1991 and is an adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at UNC School of Dentistry, teaching in the graduate Prosthodontic program. Dr. Bruggers has lectured throughout the United States.
Brandon Kofford, DMD, MS grew up in Midvale, UT and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT for his undergraduate studies. He attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He was inducted into the prestigious Omega Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for his academic performance (graduating Top 3 with Honors) and was recognized by the faculty for his excellence in Prosthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry. During dental school, Dr. Kofford accepted a commission with the Air Force and was accepted into their Prosthodontics specialty training immediately upon graduation, which took him and his young family down to San Antonio, TX for Master's studies at the University Of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio and clinical training at Wilford Hall Medical Center.
After completing his residency, the Koffords accepted an assignment to RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England. They lived there for three years and loved their experience serving the men and women (and their families) who selflessly serve our country. Dr. Kofford was appointed as the Director of Prosthodontics and Officer in Charge of the Base Dental Laboratory and during this time he achieved the coveted "Board Certified Specialist" status in Prosthodontics. Brandon, his wife Marian, and their six children live in Apex, NC.
Dr. Kofford has memberships in the American College of Prosthodontics, and OKU honor society.
